The Eastern Europe Blessed Family Department and the Treasures of Heaven Ministry organized a precious event for families with children who have special conditions.
A three-day camp was held in the Moscow Region from July 5 to 7. Many volunteers worked together to make it a success. Eight families took part in it, and altogether 35 people came, including staff.
The goal of the event was to let families feel support and inspiration. Alexander Timofeev, the director of FFWPU for Moscow, came to greet us on behalf of Eastern Europe FFWPU President Jack Corley, which was very touching. He also prayed for our ministry at the closing ceremony.
The schedule was rather intense: Every day included two to three hours of deep discussion, which was led by our brother Dmitry Guseev, who is a professional coach.
As participants mentioned later, this discussion time was healing, touching, inspiring.
Blessed Family Department member Bayarma Efremova held two important sessions on two days: an art session on drawing your family and another session with clay (make your child’s heart). Both of these sessions helped families understand themselves deeply and talk about their feelings and stories.
The head of the Eastern Europe Second Generation Education Department, Elena Kalmatskaya, came to give us a Sunday service with her husband.
We also scheduled a romantic walk for couples to let them talk to each other, understand each other more and recharge batteries to move on.
Every evening we also spent time beside a bonfire talking to each other.
As participants said at the end, it was an important event which let everybody have very deep insights, feel God’s love through each other’s support and inspiration to move on.
